Testimonials & Reviews - What people are saying about LUSH Pathways?
I really enjoyed the tour and I will recomend it also to friends. Renata was a very caring and compassionate tourleader. She sorted everything out efficiently. It was a pleasure to travel with LUSH Pathways.
Sarah C - South Africa
After an incredible journey through Brazil with Renata, our group had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of dancing the samba as members of one of Rio's great samba schools in one of the world's great spectacles, the Rio de Janeiro Sambadrome. At 3 a.m., dressed in blue and white ostrich feathers and in front of an audience of 70,000 cheering fans, we danced and sang for an hour. It was a wild sensory overload and remains the highlight of my world travel experiences.

Day 1 Arrival Day in São Luís
Arrive at any time. São Luís is the only city in Brazil founded by the French. A walk around the Historical Centre is the perfect way to see the beauty of this charming colonial town rich in folkloric traditions.

Day 2-3-4 Lençóis Maranhenses National Park
Beautiful remote scenery, mangroves, oases with crystalline waters, white sand dunes, interesting fauna and migratory birds are some of the attractions of this 1550 square kilometer national park. You will first visit the area called “Grandes Lençóis”, meaning “Big Bed Sheets” because of the appearance of the sand dunes. This is a stunning part of Brazil that few people have the privilege to visit.
You have an entire free day to enjoy the area as you wish. You can take an optonal boat journey to Caburé, stop at Mandacaru Village – go up to the light house for an amazing 360-degree view and stop at Vassouras - part of which is called the “Pequenos Lençóis” or “Small Bed Sheets” – an Environmental Protected Area, where you may see some monkeys! On your third day, you will join a relaxing Tubing Trip down the Rio Formigas and then reach Parnaiba in a 4x4 transfer through small villages.

Day 5: Camocim / Buggy Trip to Maceio Beach & Barra dos Remedios
You start early in the morning with a 2-hour local bus journey to Camocim. Getting there you will join your first buggy trip and visit beautiful remote and wild beaches along the coast.

Day 6-7-8 Jericoacoara
You reach Jeri in a another buggy trip through Tatajuba Vilage. The bumpy journey is part of the experience! Beautiful lagoons, rustic villages and remote beaches are part of your itinerary. Jeri is one of the few spots in Brazil where it is possible to see the sun set over the ocean. You can join another buggy trips or you can ride a horse along desolate beaches, go for capoeira lessons or climb the sand dunes and try sandboarding. A good night life with lots of forró music waits for you.

Day 9 Fortaleza
You leave to Fortaleza in the morning and make a stop for lunch (not included) in the beautiful Lagoa do Paraiso to say good bye to this paradise. Enjoy the last day of the tour.
